The new Sonos headphones, the Ace, are out. They are certainly very expensive, especially when compared to other headphones out there that are cheaper.

However, the Ace is an excellent companion of the smart home cinema setup when this is based on the Sonos Atmos soundbar, the Arc.

The Ace offer, among other characteristics, spatial audio, Active Noise Cancellation, Losseless audio and 30-hour battery life.

There are two important characteristics that turn Ace a good companion to the smart home cinema system.

  • Firstly, Ace switches between Bluetooth devices instantly.
  • Secondly, Ace instantly swaps TV/Projector audio from Sonos Arc to Sonos Ace.

This is very important when we don’t want to disturb others but at the same time we don’t want to lose the engaging satisfaction of the enveloping, spatial loud sound.
