Philips Hue, albeit expensive, is one of the most stable and reliable smart lighting systems.

However, the Hue system has one big drawback. There is a limit in the number of devices per bridge. When the number of Hue devices is high there is a need for a second Hue bridge.

However, the two (or more) bridges are completely independent from each other. This fact causes important operational issues diminishing the overall smart comfort and experience.

Things gladly change.

Philips Hue has announced a new function that will allow the control multiple bridges. This new feature will launch later 2024.

In addition, the latest version of the Hue app has been adapted for tablets providing a two column display. This allows the user to see his rooms as well as the lights and scenes per room at the same time.

These two improvements are crucial for users who wish to have their entire smart home based on Philips Hue.
