Die Hard and Christmas

In a previous post I maintained that the action thriller Die Hard, which appeared in the cinemas 36 years ago, in 1988 (by Twentieth Century Fox, Gordon Company, Silver Pictures), is one of the best action movies.

 

 

 

 

The dialogues of the movie are also excellent, with the penetration of humor making them more entertaining and effective. 

In addition, Die Hard is also  a love story, that takes place during Christmas eve. In fact, we sense Christmas throughout the movie: there are at least 46 different scenes with a clear Christmas aroma. In other words, Christmas eve is not a minor detail of the movie.
