Cliffhanger, a superb adventure

I watched Cliffhanger again, for the 7th, or so, time. What an adventure.

Renny Harlin directed this masterpiece. The actors, Sylvester Stallone and John Lithgow, shine.

The plot keeps you on the edge of your seat. Several criminals steal three suitcases from a US Treasury plane. They are full of money. They throw the suitcases from the airplane to the Rocky mountains. Then they try to recover them. And they mesh with the wrong man. Stallone takes them out one by one.

Cliffhanger cannot be compared with any of the recent superhero action movies. It is the definition of action movie.

It is a must in any cinephile library.
